Delete your data

You can delete your Roger account and everything in it yourself, from inside the app, at any time. You do not need to contact us and you do not need to explain why.

Delete everything from the app

Open Roger and go to the You tab.
Scroll to Account.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

That is the whole process. Deletion runs immediately — there is no waiting period and no “deactivated” state.

What deletion removes

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Your profile — name, email address and settings
Every recording’s audio file
Every transcript, summary and to-do
Your voice signatures and the speaker names you created
Topics, entities and facts derived from your memories
Your chat history with Ask
Any share links you created — they stop working immediately
Your consent record and push-notification token

This cannot be undone

Deletion is immediate and irreversible. We keep no hidden copy and cannot restore an account once it is deleted. If you want to keep anything, export it first: You → Export my data gives you a file containing your memories, transcripts, to-dos and chat history.

Deleting just one memory

You do not have to delete the whole account. Deleting a single memory removes its audio, transcript, summary and to-dos, and it works the same way — immediately and permanently.

What happens to audio you do not delete

Even if you never delete anything, audio is deleted automatically after 30 days by default. You can shorten this in Settings → Delete audio after, including to 0 days, which deletes each recording’s audio as soon as it has been transcribed.

Transcripts and summaries are kept until you delete them, because they are the part of a memory you actually come back to.

Backups and logs

Deleted records are removed from our live systems immediately. Encrypted infrastructure backups held by our database provider may retain a copy for a short period before rotating out; those backups are not searchable, are never used to restore an individual account, and expire on their own. Operational logs record events such as “a recording failed” and do not contain your transcripts.

If you cannot get into your account

If you have lost access to the phone or the Google account you signed in with, email neel@miraiminds.co from the email address you used with Roger, with the subject “Delete my data”.

We will verify that the request comes from the account holder, delete everything, and confirm by email. We aim to complete this within 7 days and will not take longer than 30 days.

If you are not a Roger user

If you were recorded by someone using Roger and you want that data removed, email neel@miraiminds.co. We will remove it from the account that holds it. You do not need a Roger account to make this request.

Waitlist emails

If you only joined the waitlist and never used the app, email neel@miraiminds.co and we will delete your email address from the list.
